Just In: Osun State Government Declares Monday As Public Holiday

It has been gathered that the Osun state government has declared tomorrow Monday as public holiday.

In commemoration of the 2024 World Teachers Day, the Executive Governor of @Osun_State_Gov, Sen. @AAdeleke_01, has declared, tomorrow, Monday the 7th of October, 2024 as a work free day for all teachers in both public and private schools throughout the State.

This development was contained in a Press Statement issued by the  Commissioner for Information & Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, today in Òṣogbo. 

According to Alimi, the holiday is in a bid to identify with all teachers throughout the State on the annual occasion and to celebrate their invaluable contributions to the growth of  education sector, not only in Ọ̀ṣun and Nigeria but the world at large .
